We like bikes but not the thieves.
* Here you can create a user profile. Afterwards you can log in the member area and register your bike. For free! The more people do this, the more successful www.veloregister.ch gets! You can upload up to 4 pictures of your bike, report stolen or refound bicycles – done!
* As stolen announced bicycles will be published simultaneously on the website of www.veloregister.ch, Facebook and Twitter
* You can get additional physical protection on demand, thanks to special adhesive, waterproofed, tamper-resistant and with a QR-Code added sticker which contains the data of the registered bike and which has to be fixed directly on the bike.
* In addition we issue a bike pass who identifies you as owner of the bicycle.
* QR-Code-Stickers cost uniquely CHF 13.- (including the bike pass) without further costs, members of ProVelo pay only CHF 10.-.

Attention:
Don't buy any bikes on the flea market without receipt and without having asked the police if the bike has eventually been stolen!
Mainly the expensive bikes are going to be sold on domestic flea markets or overseas as well as over the internet ore are even being offered to receivers of stolen goods. Source
After your bike has been stolen you should immediately announce this. Consequently you increase your chances that it might be refound quicker.
